A privately held business that has developed and maintained successful partnerships with our customers by keeping our resources streamlined. The skill level of our employees and the quality of customer service each facility receives is at the highest in the industry. The lack of downtime, excellent quality analysis reports, and employee satisfaction within these facilities are our true measure of success.

Jackie Cooper is a co-owner of DrMet Biomedical. She graduated from Southern Arkansas University with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She then followed up with a Bachelors Degree from Arkansas Tech University. Her background is in Intensive Care and has had several management roles during her nursing career. Jackie assists the DrMet team with policies, HR, and is currently working on certification for Woman Owned Business. She has three children and is a proud grandmother of two grandchildren who are all girls! “I enjoy working with the DrMet team, and I truly feel that we are all like family. We have a great team and I feel truly blessed to be a part of this company.” – Jackie.
Tom

Tom Cooper is a talented and skilled medical technician with his CBET from AAMI. Tom has trained on numerous equipment including heart and lung machines, lasers, anesthesia machines, and ventilators. He takes pride in his trouble-shooting skills as well as his technicians’ trouble-shooting skills. DrMet is a labor of his love of medical equipment. He and his wife, Jackie have created an innovative, multi-fauceted, and ever-evolving medical equipment company. When Tom is not working his tail off at DrMet, he can be found soaring the skies in his private plane. Tom’s wisdom and experience is extended to his employees, and the care that he has for his customers is undeniable.
Glen
GlenTechnician
Glen is a versatile ICC and ICAC certified technician with twenty plus years of experience. U.S. Army trained with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Electronics from Thomas Edison State College as well as an Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology from the University of Phoenix. Additional training includes dozens of service training classes from multiple medical equipment manufacturers. Recognition and awards include the AAMI BMET of the Year Award 2005, ETA-I Technician of the Year Award 2004 and induction into the Electronics Hall of Fame 2005. Glen stated “working with DrMet Biomedical and Laser Service is like working with family. All of our goals are centered around great customer service.”
Kalen
KalenTechnician
Kalen enjoys spending time with family and friends. His prior experience includes working in HVAC as a new equipment installer. With only working in the medical field since 2019, Kalen has enjoyed learning and helping in any way that he can. He is a vital team member to the DrMet family. We depend on him to fill in the gaps during a busy day. He does minor repairs in the shop and oversees packing and shipping. Kalen said, “I enjoy being a part of something bigger than myself and being challenged with different daily tasks. I have not been in the medical field long, and with that comes challenges of learning new things. I am confident that if I cannot find the answer, The DrMet team will.”
Heather
HeatherOffice Manager
Heather’s most cherished “Job” and greatest blessing is being a mother to her 3 children. Heather received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Psychology and Sociology from Arkansas State University Jonesboro in 2004. With over 15 years of management experience Heather believes she has found her life’s calling. Heather is new to the medical field but in her short time she has gained so much knowledge. Being a part of DrMet she can continue her passion for helping others and looks forward to learning and growing with our company and our medical community.
